The RM Young 05108-45 Heavy Duty Wind Monitor HD-Alpine is designed to deliver accurate, reliable wind speed and direction measurements in extreme, high-elevation environments. Its rugged all-black design promotes thermal warming from sun exposure, while an ice-resistant coating maintains performance in alpine conditions. Corrosion-resistant ceramic bearings and a high-pitch propeller further enhance durability, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding applications.
The RM Young 05108-45 integrates seamlessly with LOGR | Met and SymphoniePRO Data Loggers. An HD single-sided 113", 1" IPT mounting boom and a 5-conductor sensor cable (available in 70m or 90m lengths) are required to mount the sensor to a met tower. Optional 6-channel surge protection is also available.
